Utsuwa Marukaku is a pottery shop offering modern tableware for daily use fired by Japanese artists. We also carry vintage ware from the later Edo to the Showa period. In our cozy 22 tsubo (approx. 73 sq. meters) shop, a rich variety of over 1000 items are available – dishes and bowls for more delicious-looking food displays, rice bowls fitting perfectly in your hands, and teapots and teacups so charming that you cannot live without.
The shop is only a 3-minute walk from Shinsen Station on the Keio Inokashira Line. The neighborhood is dotted with cultural facilities including the Toguri Museum of Art, The Japan Folk Crafts Museum and The Shoto Museum of Art, in which you can enjoy the art of Japan. It is also an easy 10-minute walk from Tokyu Department Store and Bunkamura. Feel free to drop in while you are having a nice little stroll in the Shibuya area.
